Over the last decade and a half, we have missed great opportunities to make changes in our country. I think it's in part because of a Parliament that has not been able to check the Executive. Our current state of politics requires the average Member of Parliament to take significant personal risk to get to office. This makes it nearly Impossible to get elected leaders who are obsessed with impactful change.

In my opinion, professionals, tech entrepreneurs and small business owners like you could help change this in two ways; participation in shaping policy and raising campaign finances for office holders who can be held accountable to the agendas that matter to you and the nation. It would have been virtually impossible for Barrack Obama to get elected if his campaign didn't tap into the power of folks like you.

I'm starting a sinking fund - for ideas and policy positions but also for money. My plan is to build on the policies that you care deeply for and consider valuable. I hope for us all to begin acting with courage; to start creating a future that makes us hopeful about who we send to public office because of the way we send them to office and our goals for their being in office.
